The event was held in the main auditorium of Florida Experiment Station View on Friday, April 1 in the morning. The welcoming remarks were given by Mr. Joseph Ordinola Tavara, representing the Director of the Station.
The first presentation was made by Mr. Dante Bolivia Diaz, Head of Soil and Water Laboratory of the U.S.. Vista Florida, who explained in detail on the "soil sampling techniques and interpretation of soil test results."
For his part, Mr. Peter Injante Silva, Head of PNI in Maize, said on more efficient technologies for high yields in corn including details on the varieties released in the Florida Experiment Station View The zero tillage system and related to the production of organic corn.
Similarly, Ing MarĂa Elena Neira Espejo said laboratory on the biological control using Trichogramma wasps mainly on parenting and beneficial insects.
Thus, the Florida Experimental Station View is doing its job of transferring the most efficient technologies to the public interest, thus contributing to regional agricultural development.
